Seawater desalination

Creation of a seawater desalination plant based on the use of solar energy

As you know, the situation with fresh water around the world is quite tense. This issue is particularly acute today in the Crimea and in other arid regions, where there are nevertheless reserves of salty or saline water.

Specialists of Graphene Institute have developed a unique technology for the effective desalination of seawater (or water from sources with a high content of salt impurities). For desalination, graphene films are used that use the energy of solar radiation. The technology practically does not require energy costs and is highly environmentally friendly.

Graphene Institute invites organizations and private investors who are able and willing to finance such R&D to participate in joint work on the creation of desalination plants of various capacities, including ones for individual customers.
